I got ahead of myself the other night when I said we'd be here yesterday.  Just arrived and glad to finally be here. The last four days have been very hot and muggy. Everything on deck is soaked in salt and slippery.

Looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the islands. But first we have to check in with customs and immigration, which can be quite an ordeal. It's not always easy tracking down the customs agent and we have to go to the airport for immigration. And it's the weekend so all this might not happen until Monday.  In the meantime we'll just hang out and wait.

And On The Right . . .

We have added some new items on the right column. The first is a link to a map of the Cape Horn region. Nancy and Mark will be using the Beagle Canal to cross over to the Pacafic Ocean and it will probably be the major event of the entire trip. We plan to add more info about Cape Horn and the Beagle Canal. Stay tuned.

The second item we've added is links to places Nancy and Mark have visited as well as those coming up. They're listed under 'Places of Interest.' These links will go to pages at WorldAtlas.com. Explore and enjoy.
